Other credits include China Blue, about the human costs of making a pair of blue jeans, Mining Black Mesa, about water rights on the Navajo and Hopi Reservations, and Store Wars: When Wal-Mart Comes to Town, about a small town's fight against a big box store. She's also worked on The Rape of Europa, Keeping Score, Bolinao 52, and The Death of Kevin Carter.

is the Associated Press correspondent in California's San Joaquin Valley. She has covered indigenous rights in Mexico for Frontline/World, worked as a staff reporter at the Washington Post, as a California-based correspondent for the Boston Globe and as an assignment editor for El Financiero in Mexico City.
